Thought dump!

I was thinking the other day about how I actually like a lot of women’s Nikes. I grew up in a family that didn’t have a whole lot of Nikes around (I wore ‘em when playing soccer, but I have fat feet and needed the extra width), but my mom reliably wore hers. I’ve never been a sneakerhead, and I’ve never really worn sneakers if sandals/flip-flops were an option, but I like women’s Nikes. Weird, I guess.
My apartment almost always reeks of pot. This would be less irritating (I don’t really hate the smell; I have little problem with my roommates or anyone smoking) if the smoke and so on didn’t waft in and irritate my eyes. This may be the lamest complaint about marijuana use ever.
My roommates are fond of using the word “rape” to mean “play well in a video game,” and “fag” to mean “person I do not like,” and are very much dipshits about women. It is hard to find the right way to say “YOU ARE STUPID STUPIDHEADS AND I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU NOT USING HATE SPEECH AROUND ME” to people who are perpetually stoned, as it turns out, but it also hurts me so to just be around that that I’ve been feeling as depressed as I was when I ended up dropping a semester.

I’m not sure whether Natalie is still my friend after that last Temple Run score text. BUT TURNABOUT IS FAIR PLAY.
Yesterday, on the same bus, I saw a) a young woman who reminded me pretty strongly of my failed and Tumbl’d-about hook-up and b) a young woman who reminded me pretty strongly of my first girlfriend, and they were standing right in front of me, and I was sitting down, and that was a neat reminder that my brain just doesn’t shut off.
I promised people on Twitter a Kendrick Lamar compilation, and I have another Andre 3000 one close to done, but would you like a selection of mostly female tween-pop that I have come to love if I put it together in mixtape form?
I’ve been using OkCupid and it’s weird and I’m sure that it’s far weirder for women who use it, because guys are going to be forward, but it’s neat to take an interest in what other people do, because that’s kind of sort of what I do in general. A date would be nice, though.
I’ve always thought soliciting ask box messages as a way to get untracked is weird (I need to focus on things to get them done), but I want to think about many things and get back to writing more here, and y’all are always great inspiration, so, really, anything at all, anywhen you want.
